About

A product mindset, with frontend as the craft.

Favour Ojo, software developer
Favour Ojo · Software Developer

I'm a software developer with a frontend focus and a product mindset. I enjoy taking an idea, understanding the problem behind it, and turning it into something people can actually use.

My work sits between engineering, design, and problem-solving. I care about the interface, but I also care about the APIs, data, performance, SEO, testing, and workflows behind it.

When I'm not building, I'm usually playing games or catching up on sports. If you have a product problem worth solving, write to me.

I don't just ship pages. I shape products.

Practice

What I build

The kinds of problems I like to take on.

01

Digital Products

End-to-end product surfaces — from the first user flow to the data that keeps it honest. Built to be used, not just launched.

02

Modern Web Platforms

React and Next.js applications with TypeScript, thoughtful routing, and interfaces that stay fast as they grow.

03

Product Experiences

Interfaces with a point of view. I care about hierarchy, copy, motion, and the small decisions that make a product feel considered.

04

API & System-driven Apps

Applications that sit on REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase, or PHP/MySQL — with testing, performance, and SEO in the plan, not as an afterthought.

03

Method

How I think

Code is the medium. Problem-solving is the job.

What is the actual problem, and who is it for?

Timeline

Professional journey

From first interfaces in 2022 to shipping digital products with a modern web stack.

  1. 2022

    Frontend development

Started with the interface: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the discipline of making something people could click through without getting lost.

  2. 2023

    Internships

Moved into real teams and real constraints. Learned how product work actually happens — feedback, scope, and shipping inside someone else’s system.

  3. 2023—24

    Product development

Shifted from pages to products. React, Next.js, and JavaScript became the core, with data and workflows sitting underneath the UI.

  4. 2024

    QA & API testing

Spent time on the unglamorous layer: verifying APIs with Insomnia, catching breakage, and treating quality as part of building — not a phase after it.

  5. Now

    Software developer

Frontend-focused engineer with a product mindset. I build digital products and modern web platforms with React, Next.js, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and the rest of a contemporary stack.

Living Room

01 · Product

Living Room

A refreshed website for a restaurant, built to make the menu, atmosphere, and visit details easy to find.

Problem
The restaurant’s previous site did not reflect the experience in the room. Guests had to hunt for the basics before deciding to visit.
What I built

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
Ekondolife

02 · Product

Ekondolife

A new, updated website for Ekondo that presents the brand and its work more clearly.

Problem
An outdated web presence undersells a growing brand and makes it harder for visitors to understand what it offers.
What I built
A modern rebuild of the Ekondo website with clearer structure, refreshed visuals, and a responsive experience across devices.
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
Halo Ride Hailing

03 · Product

Halo Ride Hailing

A full-stack ride-hailing platform with dedicated experiences for riders, drivers, and administrators, backed by a type-safe relational data layer.

Problem
A ride-hailing platform has multiple connected workflows: riders need to request and track trips, drivers need to manage availability and rides, while administrators need visibility across the platform. These experiences need to work together reliably on a shared data model.
What I built
A platform where riders request trips from pickup to destination, drivers go online, accept requests, and complete trips, and admins keep watch. Built with a focus on scalability, type safety, clean architecture, and a solid relational database structure.
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • PostgreSQL
  • Neon
  • Drizzle ORM

  • Next.js
  • Tailwind CSS
Yellow Door Hotels

  • Next.js
  • Tailwind CSS
  • shadcn/ui

  • Next JS
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
Momentum App

  • Next.js
  • Supabase
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
SoilMate

A plant matching product that helps people find plants that fit their space and conditions.
